A new pedestrian-cycle bridge is being opened in a Westmeath town.
The opening of the Saunders pedestrian-cycle bridge took place today in Mullingar, with the aim of the bridge being to offer a fully accessible route for pedestrians and cyclists and enhancing connectivity between key residential areas.
Over €3 million has been provided for this project through the NTA’s Active and Sustainable Transport Investment Fund, by The Department of Transport.
