New Solar Farm Could Be On Its Way To The Midlands

A decision is due on the development next February.

Plans have been submitted for a new solar farm in the midlands.

Jack Vaughan is seeking planning permission for a new site stretching across the Westmeath and Offaly border.

Development on the proposed project is expected to take ten years, and will last for fourty years when operational.

The 23 hectare site be situated between Culleenagower and Lurgan.

A decision on the development is due from the local authorities in Offaly and Westmeath on the 22nd of February, next year.
