New Warnings Over Fake Tickets

It comes ahead of events in the Midlands this Summer.

There's a renewed warning over fake tickets for upcoming gigs.

Bank of Ireland says fraudsters are increasingly targeting music fans with social media posts.

Oasis will play two sold-out gigs in Dublin in the middle of August, while Electric Picnic also returns next month.

The bank's fraud team says some indicators that an offer could be a scam include prices that are too good to be true, pressure for a quick sale, and no opportunities to meet in person.
