They're gathering today to discuss and debate climate issues in Ireland.

Nine young people are representing the midlands at the Dáil's first ever Youth Assembly on Climate today.

157 delegates in total - aged between 10 to 17 - are gathering to discuss and debate climate issues in Ireland.

The event is also part of the 100th anniversary of the parliament.

Gráinne Malone from Banagher is passionate about fighting the climate crisis.
