Nitrates Derogation Taking Centre Stage For ICMSA AGM

Both the Taoiseach and Minister for Agriculture will be in attendance.

The nitrates derogation will be top of the agenda at a meeting of cattle farmers today.

The ICMSA is marking its 75th anniversary, with Taoiseach Micheal Martin and Minister for Agriculture Martin Heydon set to make an appearance at their AGM in Limerick.

It comes after the yesterday's news that the EU Commission will vote on a proposal to extend the derogation for the next three years in the coming weeks.
