A Laois councillor is disappointed with the lack of progress.

A Laois councillor is struggling to understand why there's been no action to create a place of reflection to remember victims of Covid-19.

Noel Tuohy first called for recognition of those who died in the pandemic in the summer of 2021. 

A tender for the proposal went out last year but was unanswered and the Labour councillor is seeking an update on the issue.

He's disappointed with the lack of progress and says Covid robbed people of their right to grieve:
