A study has found there's no evidence of an academic advantage between single sex or mixed schools.

Researchers at the University of Limerick looked at the studies of 5,000 teenagers in more than 150 schools.

It found when it comes to subjects like science, maths and reading, there was no significant difference in academic performance.
