No trace of gas was found at a midlands school, according to Gas Networks Ireland.
Parents at Educate Together National School in Mullingar were advised to collect their children early yesterday, after a suspected leak.
GNI says their first responder arrived at the scene just after 11am after being informed of a suspected smell of gas, before a larger crew arrived ten minutes later.
It says a number of checks and tests were carried out, but the crews found no trace of gas at the school, and the team left just after 3pm.
