The North Midlands Credit Union CEO hopes the decision not to merge with Roscommon Credit Union will be revisited.
A proposed merger between North Midlands Credit Union and Roscommon was rejected after failing to win the 75% member approval required at its Mullingar base during a General Meeting last week.
Had it been approved, the merger would have brought together more than 85,000 members and over €600 million in assets.
