The North Midlands Credit Union CEO hopes a merger with Roscommon Credit Union will be revisited.
It was rejected after failing to win the 75% member approval required at its Mullingar base during a Special General Meeting.
It the proposal was successful, it would have had more than 85,000 members and over €600 million in assets.
