There is an increase of interest in cooler destinations in northern Europe for holidays.
That's according to travel agent and holiday expert Jackie Spain, who spent 20 years working in Offaly.
She says the touring holidays segment of the market is seeing an increase in holidays to Norway and the Fjords.
She believes the traditional family holidays are still the most popular as people are still visiting hotspots like Spain, Greece and Italy, although the biggest growth of all is cruising.
