NPHET Still Has "Considerable Concerns" About Spread Of Virus In Midlands

A meeting is underway at the moment to considering ending localised restrictions.

A member of the National Public Health Emergency Team says there are still 'considerable concerns' about the spread of Covid-19 in the midlands. 

A NPHET meeting is underway to consider whether the lockdown in Laois, Offaly and Kildare should be lifted. 

The restrictions are due to end on Sunday, after being in place for the past two weeks.
