John O'Grady is stepping into the role at Birr Castle Demesne.
One of Offalys top tourist attractions has recieved a new general manager.
John O’Grady, who has had roles at several renowned properties in Ireland and beyond takes over management of the historic castle and estate which is the ancestral home of the Parsons family for over 400 years.
Birr Castle Demesne spans 120 acres of parklands, trails and is home to Ireland’s tallest treehouse, with Mr O`Grady overseeing all facets of the castle including the visitor services, heritage preservation and development initiatives.
