Offaly Business Re-Purposing To Produce Protective Face Masks

The company is looking at ways to help with the covid-19 crisis.

A business in Offaly is re-purposing itself to help produce protective masks for frontline workers.

Adrian Colton of Agetech Kitchen Designs says they hope to produce up to 1,000 masks a day if they can continue to source raw materials. 

Healthcare workers across Ireland are having to re-use some protective equipment after it was discovered parts of a delivery from China are unfit for purpose. 

Mr. Colton says they're producing the faceshields in line with HSE guidelines:
