Organisations are receiving funding through the 2025 Mountlucas Community Gains Scheme.
A number of Community Organisations in Offaly have secured funding from Bord na Mona.
Through its 2025 Mountlucas Wind Farm Community Gains and Near Neighbour Schemes, Bord na Mona are contributing €164,900 to community projects.
BnM says the funding reflects its commitment to ensuring renewable energy developments deliver lasting local benefits for the Mountlucas community with just under €1m raised since its inception.
Organisations that received funding through the 2025 Mountlucas Community Gains Scheme include North Offaly Community Development’s Meals on Wheels service, Walsh Island Shamrocks, Daingean National School, Offaly School of Special Education, and the Molesworth Bridge Playground among others.
