An Offaly community group is urging the public to submit letters of interest about turning an old courthouse into a community space.
Birr Courthouse closed its doors in 2013, with the Birr 20:20 group working with Offaly County Council.
The local authority is now aiming to submit an application worth almost 5 million euro to the Government's Regional Rural Development Fund to renovate the site in July.
