She says it followed a day after raising council concerns about county potholes.

An Offaly councillor is demanding a boost to Government funding to fix potholes - after bursting a tyre in a pothole she reported 10 days ago.

Sinn Fein's Aoife Masterson was dropping a colleague home to Rhode when the incident occurred.

She claims it was after a day sending representations to the council on various other potholes in the county.

The Tullamore councillor says funds don't reflect the reality in the county:
