Offaly County Council has banned all burning during the pandemic.

Offaly County council is banning controlled burning during the Covid 19 Pandemic.

It's in an effort to cut down on non-essential calls to fire services. 

Controlled burning is used by farmers to dispose of any trees, trimmings, leaves, bushes or similar material generated by agricultural practices.
