13 health standards were examined during the inspection.
An Offaly dental clinic has passed an inspection from the Health Watchdog with flying colours.
HIQA carried out an announced inspection at the HSE Dental Clinic in Birr in November.
The inspector looked at 13 health standards, with the facility found to be compliant in all of those.
They spoke with staff at the clinic, reviewed documentation and visited the room where X-rays were conducted.
The report states there were clear lines of oversight and management in place at the facility, and they are satisfied roles and responsibilities were appropriately allocated to individuals.
The clinic provides emergency dental services for patients up to 16 years, and children and adults with special needs.
The report found the inspector inspector was satisfied there were systems in place to ensure the safe and effective delivery of medical radiological exposures.
