Farm land in Offaly remains the cheapest in Leinster.
A high quality acre costs just over €12,000, with poor quality achieving €7,000.
Good land in Westmeath is worth 34% more, at €16,171 per acre, but poor holdings command less than half that value.
A decent acre in Laois is worth €14,625, while poor land is stronger than other midland counties at €8,000 per acre.
The findings are contained in the latest Teagasc report for 2024.
