Birr GAA have also submitted plans for two new viewing stands.
Plans for a new pitch and two new viewing stands at an Offaly GAA Club are in the works.
The planned project at Birr GAA Club site involves the removal of the existing shop structure, with partial demolition of the viewing terrace.
The application submitted to Offaly County Council also includes the development of a new two-storey clubhouse at the northern end of the existing playing field, comprising of a shop, gym, changing rooms, a common room, kitchen, and toilets.
A decision on the application is due to be made by February 25th.
