Offaly Has The Highest Covid-19 Incidence Rate In The Country

Nationally, the figure is 150.

A midlands councillor is concerned Offaly will be kept in Level 5 restrictions even when other counties are allowed to reopen. 

Ken Smollen wants the HSE to reveal where clusters are in order to help reduce the spread of the virus. 

The county has the highest 14-day incidence rate in Ireland, with 350 cases per 100,000 population.

Nationally, the figure is 150 - while Westmeath is 143 and Laois 76.
