Offaly Mum With Lyme Disease Needs To Raise €30,000 For Her Treatment

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help to help cover her medical costs. 

An Offaly mum, who is suffering from Lyme Disease, needs to raise 30,000 euro so she can undergo treatment in Germany. 

Carol Grennan was bitten by a tick while out running in 2014 but it took two years before she was diagnosed with the rare bacterial disease.

A GoFundMe page, Carol's fight against Lymes disease, has been set up to help to help cover her medical costs. 

The Killeigh woman is suffering from heart palpitations and leg spasms and frequent blackouts.
