Offaly Emergency Services is hosting an open day this weekend to raise funds for a local family struck by tragedy.
Emily McNamee from Edenderry is in a critical condition in hospital, after suffering a cardiac arrest in September.
She was the primary carer for her five-year-old son Aiden, who has a rare,incurable form of epilepsy.
A GoFundMe page, set-up to support the family's medical costs, has generated almost €80,000 to date.
Edenderry Ambulance Service is also holding a family day at Rosderra Gaelic Park this Saturday, with all of the proceeds going to the Emily McNamee Fund.
