Offaly Principal Expresses Gratitude For Support Following Ashling Murphy Death

The 23-year-old school teacher was killed while out for a run.

The principal of Ashling Murphy's school in Offaly is thanking everyone for their support shown in the wake of her death.

James Hogan of Durrow National School wrote to his colleagues at the Irish Primary Principal Network's annual conference to show his gratitude.

The 23-year-old school teacher was killed while out for a run along the Grand Canal in Tullamore on January 12th.

He says they were overwhelmed with the level of sympathy shown following her death:
