A man remains in a serious condition in hospital after a major public order incident in Offaly yesterday.
Local gardaí and members of the Armed Support Unit responded to the incident involving a large number of people in the Arden View area of Tullamore at about 1.40pm.
A man, believed to be in his 40s, was taken to the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore with apparent stab wounds.
No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
