According to Fergus McDonnell, €312k will be returned to the Offaly Hospice Committee.
Councillors from government parties in Offaly were asked to intervene in a financial dispute between a hospice committee in the county and the HSE and did nothing.
That's according to Independent Ireland rep Fergus McDonnell.
The Edenderry man says he's been told the HSE will be returning €312,000 to Offaly Hospice Committee in the near future.
The money was spent on architect fees for an early proposal for a hospice in the county.
Councillor McDonnell says it's obvious why the information wasn't acted on by coalition parties:
