An Offaly secondary school is launching a fundraising campaign for a new astro turf pitch in memory of Ashling Murphy.
Sacred Heart School in Tullamore is aiming to build enough funds for the 'Pairc Ashling' pitch named after their former pupil.
It follows 60 of their students joining local man John Healy at the school to complete his 26th and final marathon to raise funds for her Memorial Foundation.
