An Offaly TD believes it is not fair that Formula 2 driver Alex Dunne doesn't recieve funding from Sport Ireland.
Fine Gael's John Clendennen is calling on 'generational' talent Dunne to be recognised for his achievements and is urging Motorsport Ireland and Sport Ireland to support the 19 year old in his field.

Alex's team currently fund their own travel, accomodation and everything else that goes into preparing to race at the highest level.
