Offaly TD Demands Faster Acre Scheme Payments

Deputy Carol Nolan says some farmers are waiting years for payments from the Government scheme.

Farmers are waiting months for Acre Scheme Payments.

That’s the message from an Offaly TD as farming families are still waiting to receive their share of funding.

The Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme offers financial support to Irish farmers for implementing environmental actions, providing up to €7,300 per year in the General scheme and €10,500 in the Co-operation scheme.
