An Offaly TD is underlining the importance of "filling the void" left by impending job losses at a medical device company in the county.
Cardinal Health will close its operations in the IDA Sragh Business Park in Tullamore next year, leading to the loss of more than 300 jobs.
Fine Gael's John Clendennen is lobbying the industry agency to ensure another employer is installed on the site as soon as possible afterwards.
