The event has been running for over 50 years.
More people come home to an Offaly town for a local festival than for Christmas, according to the festival chair.
The Birr Vintage Festival is offically launching this week for what is set to be the 56th edition of the event.
From the 2nd to the 10th of August, people will be treated to new sites in the town, such as an arts trail, exhibitions and the return of a famous 'duck race'.
