"A cathartic experience"- that's how an Offaly woman is describing her journey in writing her memoir on living with metastatic breast cancer.
Banagher's Carol Grogan has a de novo diagnosis, meaning her cancer had spread to other parts of her body by the time she was diagnosed.
"The Shadow That Walks Beside Me" will be available to order online from tomorrow,and launches officially on Sunday.
Ms Grogan aims to raise funds for Dochas Cancer Support services in Tullamore, and the Midlands Cancer Support in Ballinasloe with the book.
