585 patients have been waiting on a bed in Irish hospitals today.
Data from the INMO shows 432 of those are in emergency departments, while 153 are in wards elsewhere.
University Hospital Limerick accounts for the highest number of patients on trolleys today, with 114.
There's currently just seven patients waiting for a bed in the three midlands regional hospitals Tullamore, Portlaoise and Mullingar.
All seven of whom are in the emergency department in Mullingar.
