There are more than 80 events scheduled at 70 historic sites across the country.
The Office of Public Works has announced events at more than 70 historic sites for National Heritage Week.
The programme includes walks, tours, workshops and demonstrations - with many of them being family friendly.
Free admission will also be offered to visitors of fee-paying historical sites on the first Saturday of Heritage Week, August 12th.
In total, more than 80 events, including tours of Emo Court by guides in period costumes, will take place during the celebration, which ends on the 20th of this month.
