Despite a significant investment, the future of the MIDOC service remains up in the air.

The HSE invested nearly eight million euro to run GP out of hour services in the midlands in 2022.

The cost of running the MIDOC GP service amounted to €4.6 million last year, the future of which is now up in the air.
