Over 100 Homeless In The Midlands

The latest Department of Housing homelessness figures are out.

More than 100 people in the midlands are homeless.

According to the latest Department of Housing figures, there are 25 families including 56 children in emergency accommodation.

Meanwhile, Westmeath has the highest number of homeless people at 37, followed by 31 in Offaly and Laois has 30.  

But Anthony Flynn, from Inner City Helping Homeless, believes an independent body needs to verify the figures:
