Over 1,100 such incidents happened between Laois-Offaly and Meath-Westmeath.
Gardaí recorded over 11,000 cases of domestic abuse incidents in the first quarter of this year.
780 such cases happened in the Meath-Westmeath Garda Division, while almost 400 incidents occurred in the Laois-Offaly Division.
The highest number of cases reported in that period came in the Western Dublin Metropolitan Region.
Meath West TD Peadar Tóibín says the figures from this year are showing a 'dark trend'.
In response Minister for Justice Helen McEntee says a major objective of the Government has been to encourage victims to come forward, as domestic violence has previously been under reported.
