More than 220 people were on trolleys in the midlands in October.
The Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore remains one of the only locations across the country to have left no one waiting for a bed so far this year.
Last month in Mullingar hospital, over 150 patients were on trolleys with 73 people without a bed in Portlaoise.
Nationally, over 10,500 people were waiting on trolleys in Irish hospitals last month, with University Hospital Limerick and Cork University Hospital both reaching over 1,000.
