Over 300K People To Be Offered Measles 'Catch-Up'

There is still just one confirmed case in Ireland.

More than 300,000 people are to be offered a measles catch-up vaccine.

It's over concerns about an outbreak of the virus as cases continue to rise across the UK and Europe.

So far one case has been confirmed in Ireland which led to the death of a Westmeath man in his 40s, in a hospital in the Dublin and Midlands health region in early February.

The campaign will be aimed at people under 24, healthcare workers and marginalised groups.
