Over 50,000 people in the midlands are using the toilet as a bin.
That's according to Irish Water and Clean Coasts, who have revealed the figures as part of their 'Think Before You Flush' Campaign.
18,000 are flushing waste down the toilet in Westmeath, 17,000 in Laois and 16,000 in Offaly.

They're urging to public to avoid flushing waste such as wipes down the toilet, in a bid to clean up our bays, shores and beaches.
