Over 700 Stray Horses Seized In The Midlands

It's been revealed in the latest figures from the Department of Agriculture.

Over 730 stray horses have been seized in the Midlands in the last four years. 

New figures from the Department of Agriculture show that more than 8,600 were taken in across the country. 

Laois County Council has collected the largest number at 298 - while Offaly took in 243 and Westmeath 202. 

Roscommon has the lowest figures in the country, taking in just four in the same period of time.
