€236,000 worth of cannabis has been seized in the midlands.
Over 11kg of the drug was found in parcels at a premises in Athlone.
Revenue seized the parcels, which originated from addresses in France and Spain and were destined for Dublin and Galway.
In a separate incident, Revenue officers also seized 14.2kg of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of almost €285,000 in Dublin.
A further 4.5kg of cannabis was found at Shannon Airport, to the value of €90,000.
