One site in the Westmeath signed the second largest contract in the state, in the final quarter of last year.
Over €7.5 million in contracts was awarded to midlands hotels, guesthouses and BnBs to accommodate and provide ancillary services to Ukrainian refugees in the final quarter of last year.
New data shows Westmeath secured the largest value in contracts between October and December of 2022, with just over €7 million.
That largely attributes to a deal struck with Our Lady's Bower Convent in Athlone, which signed a contract worth €6.6 million, the second largest in the State.
That's followed by €665,000 in Offaly, which is a summary of two sites offering accommodation in the county.
The Abbeyleix Manor Hotel was the only facility to sign a contract in Laois in the final quarter of last year - that was worth €103,000
