There'll be some celebrations in Laois tonight!
A lucky lotto player in Laois is a quarter of a million euro richer!
The €250,000 winning ticket had gone over six weeks without being claimed, after being purchased at Centra on the Dublin Road in Portlaoise.
But, the National Lottery has confirmed the winner of the Lotto Plus 2 draw has come forward, and arrangements are being made for them to claim their prize.
Meanwhile, appeals are still being made for the winner of a €45,075 Telly Bingo Snowball prize to come forward.
That ticket was bought on the 4th of July at Dunnes Stores in the Kyle Shopping Centre on James Fintan Lalor Avenue in Portlaoise.
