The Chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee is calling for the medical cert explaining the absence of the former RTÉ Director General to be shown to all members.
Laois Offaly Sinn Féin TD Brian Stanley says he wants Dee Forbes to appear before the committee in relation to the payments scandal, Toy Show The Musical and exit payments.
She's yet to go before PAC to answer questions from TDs and Senators, citing an illness, which has been verified by a senior civil servant official in the committee, but her solicitor has prevented it from being shown to all members for fears it would be released publicly.
Deputy Stanley says he would be willing to meet her under any circumstances in any place, and even engage through correspondence:
