Parents could be forking out as much as €3,000 every year, to send their children to summer camps during the school break.
According to an analysis by the Irish Independent, it would cost the average household €3,000 to send two teenagers to camps across the three-month break.
For parents of primary school children, who have an eight week break, it would cost about €2,000 for two kids.
