The Portlaoise Action To Homelessess is asking people to help wash sleeping bags from Electric Picnic.

There is almost 500 sleeping bags from the festival to be cleaned, the organisation will be travelling to three locations in Laois this week.

PATH Chairperson Irene Redmond says the sleeping bags will go to homeless people in Laois, Cork and Dublin.

She explains where the group will be handing out sleeping bags to be cleaned:
