The Hollywood actor is selling Emmel Castle after buying it 35 years ago.
One of Ireland's most successful Hollywood actors says selling up his Offaly castle has brought him on a trip down memory lane, and has caused him no small amount of stress.
Patrick Bergin and his wife Helen Goldin took the decision to sell Emmel Castle 35 years after buying the 15 century building because they want a smaller home with a view of the sea.
The property was built by the O'Carroll clan and features 20 acres of private woodlands and gardens.
