The works will affect Mountmellick residents.
SIRO is issuing a power outage notice to residents in Laois.
They're informing customers the planned works between the week of March 19th and April 28th inclusive may lead to electricity outages.
The areas set to be affected are Willow Grove, Grange Hall, St Josephs Terrace, Esker Gate, Manor Grove, Ash Grove, Silverwood Kirwan Park, Hawthorn Ave, Twomey Terrace, and Pattisons Estate.
The works will take place to bring a fibre broadband network to Mountmellick, following an investment of approximately €2 million in the town.
1,940 homes and businesses will benefit from a high-speed, reliable broadband connection.
