Planning Permission For Two Wind Turbines Declined In Offaly

Each one would have been 169m in length.

A plan to build two wind turbines in Offaly has been refused.

Permission was being sought for the development in the Derrinlough area.

The local authority refused the application saying it was in conflict with the county development plan.

The proposal included the 169m turbines as well as numerous upgrades to the existing site.
